Sewer Camera Inspection in Edmonton
Yes. We run a camera through your sewer line, show you the video, and tell you plainly what it needs, if anything.
- ✓ 24/7 emergency line
- ✓ Serving Edmonton and area
Signs you need this
- Slow drains or gurgling toilets throughout the house
- A backup through the basement floor drain
- Repeat clogs that come back after clearing
- You're buying an older home with a clay sewer line
Why start with a camera
Sewer repairs are expensive, and the right fix depends entirely on what’s wrong. A camera inspection shows you the inside of the pipe before anyone quotes you for lining, pipe bursting or digging. It’s how you avoid paying for the wrong repair.
What it shows
- Tree roots growing in through joints. Roots can grow into sewer service lines and cause backups.
- Cracks and breaks in old clay or cast iron pipe.
- Offset joints, where pipe sections have shifted.
- Bellies or sags, low spots where waste collects. These matter for choosing a repair, because lines with a belly or slope problem can’t be fixed by pipe bursting and need excavation.
- A clean line. Sometimes the answer is that nothing’s wrong.
Who owns what
In Edmonton, homeowners are responsible for the sewer line on their property. EPCOR is responsible from the property line to the main. So the part we inspect is the part you’d pay to fix.
What you get
- The video, or the key clips from it.
- Where problems are and roughly how far from the house.
- A written recommendation: lining, pipe bursting, dig and replace, root clearing, or nothing.
